Teach your team to run research properly.

The fastest way to raise the quality of your R&D is to raise the research literacy of the people doing it. We teach the working method behind our own research value chain — the same discipline we apply as a registered Research Service Provider (RSP000047) — so your team can frame, test and document their own work like researchers.

The four modules

Scientific method foundations

What makes a question researchable, how to state a falsifiable hypothesis, and why "we tried it and it worked" is not a finding.

Experimental design

Variables, controls, success criteria and sample thinking — designing tests whose results actually mean something.

Evidence record-keeping discipline

Contemporaneous, version-controlled records: what to capture, when, and in what form, so findings stay defensible long after the sprint ends.

Research governance in practice

Running experiments inside a delivery cadence — decision gates, documentation habits and review rhythms borrowed from our own governance framework.

Modules stand alone or combine — the record-keeping module in particular pays for itself the first time evidence is questioned, and where activities meet the self-assessed R&D Tax Incentive criteria, disciplined records are what make the downstream benefit defensible.

Delivery formats and audiences

  • Half-day workshop. One module, hands-on, using your team’s real problems as the working material.
  • Short series. All four modules over several weeks, with exercises applied to live projects between sessions.
  • Embedded coaching. We sit alongside your team through a real research cycle, coaching the method as the work happens.

Built for engineering and product teams doing technical work, and for innovation leads who own the R&D agenda. A course outline is available through our resource centre; pricing on request, quoted up front.

Put the method in your team’s hands

Tell us about your team and what they are building — we will recommend a format and put together an outline, delivered in person from Lot Fourteen in Adelaide or remotely Australia-wide.
