Start Here · Research Assessment

Bring us the problem. The research method does the rest.

You do not need a research plan, a hypothesis or any paperwork to begin — just a real problem that existing knowledge cannot obviously solve. Tell us about it below, and a researcher from our Adelaide team (registered Research Service Provider RSP000047) will come back to you with an honest first read on whether it may be framed as structured research. Not sure yet? Our research approach explains how we work, and the 2-minute self-assessment gives a quick initial indication first.

How the assessment works

  1. Tell us about the problem

Submit a short overview of your problem using the form below — it takes about five minutes. No preparation needed; a rough description is enough to start.

  2. We reply within 2 business days

A researcher (not a salesperson) reads your submission and comes back to you within two business days.

  3. A free 30-minute initial conversation

We talk through the problem together — what you are trying to do, where you are stuck, and what is genuinely unknown. Free, and with no obligation.

  4. We advise whether it can be framed as research

You get our honest view on whether and how the problem may be framed as structured research, and a recommended path — which sometimes means telling you research is not the right tool.

A rough description is fine — vague but real questions are often where research starts.

Submitting this form does not commit you to anything — it simply starts a conversation. Your details are handled in line with our privacy policy.

General information only — not tax, financial or legal advice. Any view we give on research framing is an initial indication, not an eligibility determination. R&D Tax Incentive eligibility is self-assessed and depends on your specific activities and circumstances; always confirm current rules with the Australian Government (business.gov.au and ato.gov.au) or a registered tax agent.
