A Registered Research Service Provider is registered in defined fields of research, not as a general adviser on every kind of R&D. These fields describe the technical domains in which Ignition Research can help businesses turn unresolved operating problems into structured research.
The field gives research an authoritative technical home. The business problem gives it a purpose.

Start with the operation
Most projects do not arrive labelled “research”
They begin with a model that cannot be trusted on live data, a process that will not hold at scale, a structure that behaves differently from the design model, or a system interaction no supplier can confidently explain.
We work backwards from that decision: identify what is genuinely unknown, determine which field or combination of fields it belongs to, and plan the work needed to answer it.
One problem can cross several fields
