RSP-supported Research Delivery
When the pathway is set, we can stay involved — governing the research, coordinating specialists and keeping the record straight across the project cycle.
When you need this
- “We have the plan, but not the discipline to run it.” The pathway is designed and the team is capable, but without external governance the stages blur, reviews slip and the record decays.
- “The research needs expertise we don’t have in-house.” A stage of the investigation calls for a specialist — a domain researcher, a testing capability, an academic partner — and someone has to find, brief and coordinate them.
- “We want a research partner, not a report.” You are looking for someone who works inside the project cycle with your team, rather than reviewing it from the outside once it is over.
- “The project will run for a year — who keeps it honest?” Long investigations drift. Ongoing governance and documentation keep the work aligned with the questions it set out to answer.
What we deliver
- Research governance. Structured oversight of the investigation as it runs: stage gates, review points and decisions recorded as they happen — not reconstructed later.
- Expert and specialist coordination (IRIN). Where the research needs capability you do not hold, we bring in and coordinate specialists through the Ignition Research Innovation Network.
- Ongoing research records. The evidence log and experiment records are kept current throughout delivery, so the trail never falls behind the work.
- Project-cycle documentation management. Documentation managed across the whole cycle — from plan through testing to conclusions — as one coherent, traceable record.
This is where an RSP differs from a consultant or tax adviser: we work inside the research, not after it. Ignition Research is a registered Research Service Provider.
How it connects
Delivery builds on the two steps before it: a designed pathway from R&D Pathway Design and a working Research Documentation System. As the project matures and evidence accumulates, wider support pathways may become relevant — that conversation is Innovation Support Navigation.
Specialist equipment, facilities and narrow technical capability are brought in through our specialist and technical partners. Where the need is continuing rather than project-shaped, the same work can run as a research office subscription. Or see all five services.
Boundaries
This service does not determine R&DTI eligibility and is not tax, legal or grant advice. We govern and deliver the research itself; any assessment of whether a government support pathway may be relevant to the project remains yours to make with your registered advisers.
Want us inside the research, not just at the start of it?
Tell us where the project stands, and we will map out what ongoing governance, specialist coordination and documentation support would look like for your cycle.
A researcher reads your enquiry, not a salesperson — and replies within two business days. That includes telling you when a research pathway is not the right tool.

General information only — not tax, financial or legal advice. Whether any government support pathway may be relevant depends on your specific activities, evidence and circumstances. Always confirm current rules with the Australian Government (business.gov.au and ato.gov.au) or a registered adviser.
