Where implementation ends and research may begin
A project is not research merely because it is difficult, new to the team or commercially important. We first examine standards, published knowledge, supplier evidence and comparable work. Research begins only where the required technical outcome still cannot be determined with confidence.

Can assembly performance be predicted from individual components?
Interfaces may create behaviour component data does not reveal; comparative prototype tests can expose it.
How sensitive is performance to tolerance and workmanship variation?
Representative tolerance bands and repeat tests establish the practical operating envelope.
Can site data align to the design model accurately enough for the decision?
Known reference points and repeat capture provide a defensible spatial-error measure.
Can a digital surrogate replace a physical test within defined bounds?
Calibration and blind validation must be conducted against physical reference results.
