Data science research when the evidence itself is incomplete

Many organisations have data; fewer know whether it is capable of answering the decision in front of them. We determine what can be inferred from sparse, biased, conflicting or fragmented information and what additional evidence would change the answer.

Where implementation ends and research may begin

A project is not research merely because it is difficult, new to the team or commercially important. We first examine standards, published knowledge, supplier evidence and comparable work. Research begins only where the required technical outcome still cannot be determined with confidence.
